We are partnering with a growing, engineering led business to recruit an Accounts Payable Supervisor on a permanent basis. This is a key role within the finance team, offering the opportunity to oversee the day to day Accounts Payable function while supporting improvements across processes, controls and ways of working. The role combines strong operational AP experience with team supervision and continuous improvement across the P2P process. The role will suit an experienced AP professional who enjoys leading from the front, improving processes and ensuring a smooth, efficient payables function.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise the end to end Accounts Payable process
- Oversee day to day AP operations, ensuring accuracy and timely processing
- Support and improve the wider P2P process, including PR, PO and approval workflows
- Review and enhance AP processes, controls and ways of working
- Support process improvements and drive efficiencies within the function
- Identify opportunities to improve accuracy, compliance and performance
- Assist in creating and maintaining process documentation and procedures
- Support stakeholder engagement across finance, procurement and operations
- Provide hands on support across invoice processing, supplier queries
