We're recruiting for a Production Team Leader to join a busy food manufacturing business in Spalding. This role needs someone who can walk in, take control of the shift and lead from the front from day one.

The Role- Running production shifts within a fast-paced factory environment
- Managing labour across production areas to ensure the shift is properly resourced
- Leading, motivating and developing production operatives and line staff
- Monitoring performance, productivity, waste and output levels
- Challenging standards where needed and driving accountability across the floor
- Completing Return to Work interviews and managing day-to-day people issues
- Carrying out shift handovers and ensuring smooth communication between teams
- Auditing paperwork and ensuring compliance standards are maintained
- Supporting continuous improvement activity across the operation
- Making sure safety, quality and retailer standards are met at all times
- Previous experience as a Production Team Leader or Production Supervisor within food manufacturing
- Someone comfortable working in a fast-moving, pressured factory environment
- Strong people management skills - able to engage teams and hold standards
- Experience managing KPIs, productivity and performance on shift
- Understanding of retailer expectations and food manufacturing compliance
- A hands-on approach with the confidence to make decisions quickly
