A genuine opportunity to develop and challenge the bridge between design and manufacturing without miles of red tape and shallow pockets! Dreamy right? The position; You and the team will work closely with the design and stress engineers by providing expertise on the manufacturing process to assist with DFM. You will use CAD and fibersim to generate ply boundaries for laser projection data for the shopfloor to ensure right first time approach. This F1 team is no stranger to CI and has some established systems already in place, however, this is a newly formed position in a team in which you will take a lead role. In this role, you will have full buy in from both the head of design and head of manufacturing as they both see this as key to mitigating quality issues and improving lead times.
