If you're the sort of person who twitches when a document isn't where it should be, gets a thrill from a clean audit, and isn't afraid to nudge people to hit deadlines, please keep reading.
We're looking for someone to take charge of the Technical Services function and someone who can keep our site running to BRC standards without turning into the "No Fun Police". You'll tighten up processes, steer the team, and make sure compliance isn't just a PowerPoint slide but something people actually follow.
What you'll own:
- Our entire Quality Management System. Ensure it's built properly, maintained properly, and audit-ready all year round.
- The internal audit process from planning to action closure. No loose ends, no forgotten fixes.
- The Master Action Log and the site schedule.
- Leadership of the Technical Services team.
- Supplier approval compliance and customer/BRC standard alignment across all functions.
- Complaint reduction and solid, sensible responses when things do go wrong.
- The HACCP manual's internal systems section and kept fit for purpose.
- Quality meeting inputs and site-wide Food Safety/Quality updates.
- The Food Safety & Quality Culture survey and turning the results into genuine improvements.
- Quality inputs and improvements within systems.
- The traceability process.
- Data support that helps teams actually change behaviour, not just shrug at spreadsheets.
Who you'll be:
Someone who likes clarity, hates chaos, and understands that compliance isn't optional but it also doesn't have to be painful. You'll influence, chase, challenge and support in equal measure, with enough backbone to hold the line and enough curiosity to keep improving the place.
If you fancy owning a role where you can genuinely raise standards this might be your next move.
