Senior Quality Inspector
West Northants
£20 to £25 p/h + Overtime at 1.5 of hourly rate
We're looking for a senior inspector who has experience with using measuring arms. You'll be inspecting composite motorsport components which is an industry known for the tight tolerances it operates between, with precision being the aim of the game both on the track and in the factory!
If you've used CMMs previously and keen to learn measuring arms this could be a great role for you......
In this role you will be one the senior inspectors of the quality team, you'll be using measuring arms with PC DMIS. You will also carry out some manual inspection where required.
The company you will be joining is an impressive sub con machine shop who are well known within the motorsport industry and supplying into F1 and bespoke vehicle industries. They have an order book filled with new projects as well as plenty of opportunity to climb the ladder internally in the coming years.
Experience we're looking for:
- Experienced in using measuring arms
- Experience with PC DMIS would be desirable
- Strong understanding of GD&T
- Confident in carrying out First Article Inspection.
- Knowledge of ISO 9001
