A hands-on role for an all-action engineering consultancy within the aerospace world. A client of ours within the aerospace industry is looking to expand their team due to increased demand for their state-of-the-art test facility, and this role will play a crucial role in getting these tests up and running. You will be working closely with the test engineering team for devising and fitting mechanical assemblies for test rigs and sensor positioning for aerodynamic testing within this company's wind-tunnel.
This company boasts being the only operation in the UK with capabilities to help push the envelope of aerospace engineering. With recently being taken over by a global aerospace manufacturer, there is heavy investment into the facility, technology and recruitment.
In this role, you will be on a double day weekly rotating shift pattern, which is 07:00am - 15:00pm for earlies and 14:00 - 22:00pm for lates.
Experience we are looking for:
- Experienced Technician within a Mechanical Environment
- Previous experience liaising with engineering teams
- Understanding of a Prototype/R&D process
- Experience of dealing with precision assemblies (engineering drawing understanding would be beneficial)
