In this varied and hands-on position, you'll play a key role in turning approved product ideas into scalable manufacturing processes. This food manufacturer is one of the largest in the country, working with the biggest retailers, giving you the opportunity to work with recognisable products. It's a fantastic opportunity for somebody wanting progression and development in their career.
Working alongside internal teams and external customers, you'll help ensure new products meet all required food safety, technical, commercial and operational standards, enabling smooth and successful launches in a fast-moving environment.
Key Responsibilities- Run factory trials and keep projects on track against tight timelines
- Troubleshoot issues quickly and drive solutions across teams
- Manage shelf-life and transit testing, ensuring products meet all requirements
- Lead post-trial reviews, turning feedback into clear action plans
- Support HACCP and food safety validations on site
- Keep raw materials and packaging aligned with project needs and budgets
- Work closely with customers, supporting panels and product sign-off
- Analyse production data to spot issues and improve performance
- Own trial and launch documentation, accurate and on time
- Background in a manufacturing or process-driven environment
- Good knowledge of food safety, technical standards and production processes
- Able to manage multiple priorities and keep projects on track
- Strong problem-solving skills with a practical, hands-on approach
- Highly organised with a keen eye for detail
- Driven to improve processes and deliver tangible results
