Location: East Midlands

Salary: Up to 80,000 + Bonus + Excellent Benefits

Shift: Monday-Friday Days

Are you an Operations Manager who enjoys making a difference rather than simply maintaining the status quo? I am working with a well-established food manufacturer looking to appoint an experienced Operations Manager to lead a large production operation. This is a genuine opportunity to influence site performance, develop an established management team and play a key role in driving continuous improvement.

Reporting directly to the General Manager, you will be responsible for leading multiple production departments, ensuring the site delivers against safety, quality, service, cost and people objectives.

What you will be doing:

  • Leading and developing a team of Senior Production Managers and Production Managers.
  • Driving operational performance across safety, quality, delivery, cost and efficiency.
  • Managing labour planning, productivity, yields and operational costs.
  • Embedding a culture of continuous improvement and accountability.
  • Working closely with Engineering, Technical, Planning and Supply Chain to deliver business objectives.
  • Leading operational readiness for customer and external audits.
  • Developing people, succession plans and future leaders across the operation.

Previous experience as an Operations Manager within food manufacturing.
