We're looking for a Trainer to join a successful food manufacturing business, helping develop skills, improve performance and build confidence across the production team. This is a hands-on role where you'll deliver practical training, assess competency, support new starters and work closely with managers to identify and close skills gaps.
What you'll be doing:
- Delivering on-the-job training across production teams
- Supporting onboarding and ongoing development of employees
- Conducting competency assessments and maintaining training records
- Managing training matrices and learning systems
- Working with operational leaders to identify training needs
- Promoting food safety, health & safety and best practice standards
- Supporting continuous improvement and operational change projects
What we're looking for:
- Experience within food manufacturing or a production environment
- Previous training, coaching or mentoring experience
- Strong communication and organisational skills
- Experience with competency assessments and training records
- Good IT skills, including Microsoft Office
- A positive, approachable style with a passion for developing people
- Train the Trainer qualifications are beneficial but not essential.
