We're working with a well-established and growing food manufacturer looking to strengthen their Technical team with a hands-on, proactive professional focused on Quality, Food Safety and Compliance. They supply most of the major retailers with popular products that you have definitely tried before!

The role is a 9-month FTC to help aid with audits and maintain the standards set by the previous incumbent who is retiring. The role is paying up to Β£40,000 with flexible working hours offered such as working from home or part-time hours!

What you'll be doing:

  • Supporting BRC and customer audits
  • Assisting with QA and QC programmes across site
  • Contributing to HACCP and food safety activities
  • Supporting technical projects, NPD and process improvements
  • Managing sampling, inspections and supplier approval
  • Supporting corrective actions, complaints and technical documentation
  • Working closely with Production and wider site teams day to day

What we're looking for:

  • Experience in a Technical, QA or QC role within food manufacturing
  • Good understanding of food safety and quality standards
  • Confidently communicate and collaborate with other departments
