A global food manufacturer in Cambridgeshire are on the hunt for a new Quality Manager to join a highly successful Technical team. This is a new role in the business and a real chance for you to make a difference! They supply the highest quality products into some of the biggest retailers in the country. Responsibilities:
- Lead and develop the QA team to maintain strong performance
- Support the continuous improvement and effective implementation of the site Quality Management System
- Ensure full compliance with food safety legislation, customer requirements, and internal quality standards
- Provide day-to-day QA support on the factory floor
- Support the HACCP team
- Assist with internal audits, including GMP, hygiene, and traceability
- Support the preparation and delivery of BRC and customer audits
- Manage non-conformances and root cause investigations to prevent recurrence
- Oversee product holds, releases, rework processes, and related documentation
- Support the investigation of customer complaints and help implement corrective actions
- Promote a strong food safety and quality culture across the site
