We are now recruiting for a proactive and experienced Health & Safety Advisor to lead safety efforts across two sites, playing a key role in driving high standards and compliance throughout the business.
This is a hands-on role where you will report directly to the Factory Manager and work closely with stakeholders at all levels. While the position has no direct reports, you will be the central figure for all Health & Safety matters across both locations.
The Role:
As Health & Safety Advisor, you will take full responsibility for developing and maintaining safety systems and processes, ensuring a culture of safety-first is embedded in every aspect of site operations. From leading audits to delivering training and advising on best practice, your influence will help ensure a safe, compliant, and continuously improving environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Act as the lead H&S representative across two manufacturing sites.
- Report directly to the Factory Manager, working alongside senior leadership.
- Ensure compliance with all current Health & Safety legislation, standards, and policies.
- Conduct regular inspections, audits, and risk assessments across both locations.
- Lead investigations into incidents and near-misses, driving root cause analysis and corrective actions.
- Provide training, guidance, and coaching on safe practices to all departments.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation and compliance records.
- Monitor safety performance and drive improvements across both sites.
- Liaise with external bodies and internal stakeholders during inspections and audits.
- Promote and embed a strong health and safety culture throughout the workforce.
