HR Generalist – 12-Month Fixed-Term Contract

Are you an experienced HR Generalist looking for a role where you can make a real impact, work at pace, and gain exposure across the full HR spectrum?
We\’re partnering with a fast-growing international manufacturing business who are going through an exciting period of transformation and investment. This is a great opportunity to join a collaborative, hands-on HR team where no two days are the same.
The Role
As HR Generalist, you\’ll be a key member of the site HR team, supporting both day-to-day operations and wider people initiatives. You\’ll also mentor a junior HR team member and play an important role in developing systems, processes, and engagement across the site.
This is a genuinely varied role with plenty of scope to get involved – from employee relations and training to HR projects and change activity.
Key Responsibilities
Provide advice and guidance to managers and employees on all aspects of HR and employee relations.
Lead on case management including investigations, disciplinaries, and grievances.
Support, coach, and mentor a junior HR team member.
Maintain and improve HR systems, data accuracy, and reporting.
Deliver training and onboarding initiatives to support workforce capability.
Partner with line managers on recruitment, performance, and engagement.
Contribute to HR projects and site-wide improvements as the business continues to grow.
About You
Proven experience in a broad HR generalist role.
Confident handling ER casework and providing sound employment law advice.
Comfortable working in a fast-paced, operational environment – manufacturing experience would be an advantage.
Strong HR systems knowledge and data-driven mindset.
Collaborative, pragmatic, and confident building relationships at all levels.
Experience managing or mentoring junior HR staff.
What\’s on Offer
