It's not often you can lead a company that are pioneering a new technology into manufacturing, but this opportunity offers exactly that. We are partnering with a quickly expanding manufacturing business that have pioneered a brand-new technology that is being used across the Aerospace, Defence and Automotive industry. In this role, you will be responsible for leading their Quality Inspection function across two sites, being permanently based at either site.

Currently, this would involve managing a small team of Quality Inspectors across two sites, but with aggressive growth plans already taking place, this role will grow in responsibility. As the Chief Quality Inspector, in addition to man management, you will also be leading the development of the latest technology within inspection, including programming techniques, introducing equipment, and managing aspects such as documentation for FAIRs, Gauge R&R Reporting, and Non-Conformance Reporting.

To be successful in this position, you will need:

  • PC-DMIS Operating and Programming Experience (Level 2)
  • Previous Team Management Experience
  • Experience of process development
  • Full understanding of ISO 9001 and AS9100
  • Extracting Inspection Data from CAD
