The Opportunity
We are retained by a growing international group to appoint a Senior Financial Controller into a key Finance leadership position. Reporting directly to the Senior Leadership Team, this role will take ownership of Group financial reporting, financial control, statutory accounts and audit, while leading a number of core Finance operations. You’ll play a key role in strengthening controls, improving processes and ensuring the business has accurate, timely and reliable financial information to support continued growth.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the Group month end, year end and consolidation processes
- Oversee statutory accounts and external audit across multiple entities
- Maintain strong financial controls, accounting policies and balance sheet integrity
- Oversee tax, treasury, cash flow and working capital activity
- Lead and develop teams across financial reporting and transactional finance
- Drive improvements across finance systems, processes, controls and reporting
- Partner with senior leadership team on financial performance and key business matters
- Support acquisitions, integrations and wider finance transformation projects
- Provide clear financial reporting and insight to senior management and the Board
About You
We’re looking for a fully qualified ACA or ACCA with significant post qualification experience in financial control, group reporting or a senior finance leadership role. You’ll have strong experience across multi entity reporting, consolidation, statutory accounts, audit and financial controls, ideally within an international or fast growth environment. You’ll be technically strong, commercially aware and hands on, with the confidence to lead a team, challenge senior stakeholders and take ownership of Group level financial control.
