I am looking for a Production Controller for a precision engineering business who supply parts into the motorsport, automotive and aerospace industries. As the Production Controller you won’t just be sat at your desk… You will be down on the shopfloor, liaising with different departments to make sure production is all running smoothly! The role; you’ll need the knowledge OR the willingness / interest to learn about CNC machining. Getting to know the process and timings of producing a part, right through to sending it to the customer is vital. You will need to understand technical diagrams and engineering drawings to be able to understand what is needed from an operational standpoint to get that component manufactured, inspected and most importantly sent to the customer on time.
