We are supporting a high-performing, established organisation in the appointment of a Senior Commercial Finance Manager. This is a commercially focused finance position within a fast-paced, high-volume operational environment, working closely with senior operational and commercial stakeholders to understand performance, improve profitability and support key business decisions. The role offers exposure well beyond traditional management accounting, with responsibility across commercial analysis, cost management, forecasting, profitability and operational finance.

Key Responsibilities

  • Take ownership of management reporting, forecasting and short-term performance analysis
  • Partner with operational and commercial stakeholders to identify trends and improve financial performance
  • Analyse margins, cost movements, product profitability and operational performance
  • Provide insight to support pricing, product mix, efficiency and cost-reduction initiatives
  • Oversee product costing, inventory accounting, stock valuation and CapEx analysis
  • Provide financial analysis and challenge around commercial agreements and customer profitability
  • Translate financial performance into clear, actionable insight for non-finance stakeholders
  • Drive improvements across reporting, controls, dashboards, processes and systems

Key Requirements

  • Qualified or part-qualified accountant (ACA / ACCA / CIMA or equivalent)
  • Strong management accounting experience combined with commercial finance exposure
  • Proven experience across budgeting, forecasting, variance analysis and performance reporting
