The Collective Network is recruiting on behalf of a leading precision machining specialist supplying complex components to the robotics, aerospace and space sectors.
This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced CNC Programmer with strong Openmind Hypermill knowledge to join a business at the forefront of advanced manufacturing.
Responsibilities
- Develop machining processes and strategies for complex, high‑precision components.
- Select appropriate cutting tools, generate detailed setup documentation, and validate programs through simulation before release to production.
- Support first‑off manufacture and inspection activities; make program amendments to achieve dimensional conformity.
- Design and develop bespoke fixtures and work‑holding solutions while collaborating with machinists and quality inspectors to meet exacting customer specifications.
Qualifications
- Proven experience using Openmind Hypermill.
- Strong understanding of multi‑axis machining and ability to interpret complex engineering drawings.
- Experience within aerospace, space, motorsport or other high‑precision manufacturing environments is highly advantageous.
