Are you an experienced CNC Miller looking for autonomous working? You are in luck... This CNC Miller position is on day shift position working on a completely brand new 5 axis milling machine!
The Business:
The business are a precision machining business, supplying 5 axis parts into the motorsport and high-end automotive industry. They specialise in jig and fixture component machining, as well as assembly of these complex jigs. They have multiple sites, but this one is working from their Rowley Regis machine shop.
The role:
You will be the sole machinist working on a brand new 5 Axis Matsuura milling machine, mainly machining different metallic materials from billet. The role is setting and operating the CNC mill, so the CAM program will be created offline and ready for you to run.
What is required:
- 5 Axis milling experience - Matsuura machine experience is desirable
- Fanuc control experience is essential
- Knowledge of working to tight tolerances and one offs - small batch machining
