Are you an experienced Mechanical Engineer looking to take the lead on complex product development projects while mentoring and developing engineering talent? Our client is an innovative engineering consultancy, partnering with organisations across a range of sectors to develop cutting-edge products and solutions. Working at the forefront of sustainability, scientific innovation and advanced technology, they deliver projects from initial concept through to manufacture, helping clients solve complex engineering challenges.
The Role:
As a Principal Mechanical Engineer, you will take ownership of mechanical design strategy and technical decision-making across multiple projects. You will work closely with multidisciplinary teams, clients and stakeholders to develop robust solutions from concept generation through to DFM, validation and production. You will be the technical focal point but also carry out line manager duties to a team of 7 engineers.
