About the Role:
In this role, you'll play a key role in designing Jigs and Fixture components and full assemblies, translating conceptual ideas into finished models to win proposals and be ready for manufacturing. Collaborating closely with manufacturing, assembly, and quality teams, you'll ensure that designs meet cost, quality, and time objectives.
What You'll be doing:
- Contribute to the conceptual design phase and communicate with customers as needed.
- Create detailed 3D CAD models and manufacturing drawings using Siemens NX.
- Support prototype manufacturing phases, ensuring collaboration across teams.
- Work alongside the CAM Programming team to optimise manufacturing processes.
What We're Looking For:
- Proficiency with Siemens NX CAD software.
- Experience designing mechanical components.
- Knowledge of modern manufacturing processes, including CNC Machining & 3D printing is an advantage.
- Degree-qualified in Mechanical or a related Engineering discipline.
