The Drive: The Collecting Group (TCG) isn’t your average company; we’re a team of culture curators who live and breathe cars and watches. We’re not just disrupting the auction industry, we’re redefining it. Our brands, Collecting Cars and Watch Collecting, are already leading the pack, but we’re just getting started. We’re expanding, and we’re looking for a Content Manager to improve and align our content across all platforms to join us in the UK.
The Mission: You’ll be joining a growing and diverse Product team and focus on improving, structuring and governing all content across our websites. This role is responsible for ensuring that every piece of user-facing content, from listings and navigation labels to help pages and transactional flows, is clear, accurate, trustworthy and optimised for conversion. This is a core Product role focused on content quality, UX clarity and the effectiveness of content throughout our buyer and seller journeys.
The Gearbox:
- Own all content across our websites including product pages, listing workflows, forms, dashboards, help content and transactional UI.
- Create and maintain content for key user journeys: onboarding, enquiries, listing creation, bidding, buying, payments and post-sale.
- Write and refine microcopy (buttons, labels, tooltips, instructions) to improve clarity and reduce drop-off.
- Assist with content QA, proofreading and brand-consistency checks across the platform.
- Own the CMS structure, templates, permissions and taxonomy across all websites.
- Work with Product & Engineering to improve content modules and reusable components.
- Collaborate with key stakeholders and departments to define and uphold content standards across all websites (tone, structure, naming).
- Audit live content and fix inconsistencies, broken flows, outdated information and unclear messaging.
- Collaborate with CRM, Legal, Compliance and Operations to ensure accuracy and alignment.
- Own the relationship with our language/localisation partners and oversee quality and translation process.
- Use analytics and user insights to identify where content affects conversion, comprehension or trust.
- Partner with Product, Design and Growth to test and iterate on high-impact content changes.
- Use A/B testing to optimise content within funnels such as enquiries, listings, bidding, payments and sign-ups.
The Specs (What We’ll Need From You):
- 3–5+ years in Content Management, UX writing, content design or product content roles.
- Strong understanding of UX, interface language and customer behaviour.
- Experience using CMS platforms and component-based design systems.
- Ability to improve conversion through clear, structured content.
- Strong editorial judgement and ability to simplify complex topics.
- Comfortable working in fast-paced product and engineering environments.
- Analytical mindset with experience using GA, heatmaps or UX insights tools.
The Pit Stop: Parsons Green, London. You’ll be predominantly based here, our London HQ. You’ll need full UK working rights for this position.
