We are looking to recruit a 30.5-hour Trainee Pharmacy Assistant on a permanent contract to work at our 325-branch located at West End Medical Centre, Conway Road, Colwyn Bay, LL29 7LS.
Shift Pattern
- Tuesday 13:30-18:00
- Wednesday 09:30-18:00 (30 minutes unpaid lunch break)
- Thursday 08:30-18:00 (30 minutes unpaid lunch break)
- Friday 08:30-18:00 (30 minutes unpaid lunch break)
Whilst working in this branch you will gain excellent knowledge and skills which will contribute to you successfully gaining the recognised Counter Course and NVQ level 2 qualification in Dispensing. This position is ideally suited to someone with previous customer service experience and who is willing to undertake the relevant training courses in order to progress.
Responsibilities
- Accurate dispensing and labelling of prescription items with guidance and supervision from the Pharmacist.
- Assisting with the ordering and management of stock levels within the dispensary and the shop.
- Maintaining attention to detail under pressure and strict deadlines.
- Delivering high standard of service as part of a well-established team.
Qualifications & Skills
- Previous customer service experience.
- Good people skills and ability to work under pressure.
- Willingness to undertake training courses (Counter Course, NVQ level 2).
- Desire to learn and progress career in pharmacy.
