We are looking to recruit a Zero Hour Prescription Delivery Driver to work on a 12-month fixed term contract at our 577 branch at 309 Pensby Road, Pensby, Wirral CH61 9NG. Opening hours for our branch are Monday to Friday 09:00 to 18:00. We are looking for an individual who is flexible to work within these branch opening times, who has great people skills and the desire to provide a professional service standard to both our customers and the Pharmacy Teams.
Responsibilities
- Your main responsibility will be to promptly and conscientiously deliver prescription items to private houses, nursing and residential homes.
- Whilst providing a high standard of customer service, you will portray a friendly professional image and act as an ambassador for the Cohens brand.
- To fulfil this role, you must be able to work under pressure to deliver the prescriptions in the given designated period of time.
- Attention to detail is paramount as you will be responsible to ensure that prescription items are delivered in line with the company’s regulated procedures.
- This role requires you to have very basic computer skills, so that you can plan and print your daily routes in branch before you set off to begin your deliveries.
- You may also be required to assist with PR exercises to increase business.
Requirements
- You are required to use your own vehicle for this role; therefore, if appointed your personal insurance policy must allow for business use.
- It is advised that you contact your insurer to obtain information regarding this prior to attending an interview.
- The Company will make a financial contribution to the business aspect of your insurance upon receipt of a document demonstrating any increased premium.
- The successful candidate must have great people skills as this is paramount to your role.
- You will be required to work as part of a well‑established team and ensure our customers receive a high standard of service.
