We are looking to recruit a 21.5‑hour Qualified Pharmacy Checking Technician to work at our 520‑branch located at 31 Market Place, Egremont, CA22 2AG.

Shift Pattern

  • Monday: 11:00 – 15:00
  • Tuesday: 11:00 – 15:00
  • Wednesday: 11:00 – 15:00
  • Thursday: 11:00 – 15:00
  • Friday: 11:00 – 16:30

Responsibilities

As a Qualified Pharmacy Checking Technician you will lead the dispensing activities by accurately dispensing and checking prescription items quickly and precisely. You will ensure our high standards of customer care and services are maintained throughout the branch. You must be confident in building customer relationships, understanding their needs, providing friendly advice and demonstrating excellent product knowledge and services. You should also have the drive and enthusiasm to coach others in your branch to do the same. Attention to detail is essential in this role, along with the ability to work under pressure and meet strict deadlines.

Qualifications

  • Proof of completion of the Accuracy Checking Course (ACT Qualification) and registration with the GPhC is essential.
  • Strong people skills and a passion for pharmacy to drive the business forward.
  • Ability to build relationships, establish needs and provide excellent service support.
