Whilst working in this branch you will gain excellent knowledge and skills which will contribute to successfully gaining the recognised Counter Course and NVQ level 2 qualification in Dispensing. The role is ideally suited to someone with previous customer service experience and who is willing to undertake the relevant training courses to progress.

Position Details

  • Contract: Permanent
  • Working hours: 38‑hour week at 581‑branch located at 13‑17 Peel Street, Chorley, PR7 2EF
  • Shift pattern:
    • Monday 09:00‑18:00 (1‑hour unpaid lunch break)
    • Tuesday 09:00‑17:30 (1‑hour unpaid lunch break)
    • Wednesday 09:00‑18:00 (1‑hour unpaid lunch break)
    • Thursday 09:00‑18:00 (1‑hour unpaid lunch break)
    • Friday 13:30‑21:00 (1‑hour unpaid lunch break)

Responsibilities

  • Accurate dispensing and labelling of prescription items with guidance and supervision from the Pharmacist.
  • Assist with ordering and managing stock levels within the dispensary and the shop.
  • Maintain utmost attention to detail, work under pressure and meet strict deadlines.
  • Work as part of a well‑established team and ensure customers receive a high standard of service.

Qualifications & Skills

  • Previous customer service experience.
  • Willingness to undertake training courses to progress.
  • Great people skills and a desire to learn and progress your career in our business.
