We are looking to recruit a 10 Hour Prescription Delivery Driver on a permanent contract to work at our 443-branch located at 448 Didsbury Road, Heaton Mersey, Stockport, SK4 3BS.

Required working hours are:

  • Monday 10:30–12:30
  • Tuesday 10:30–12:30
  • Wednesday 10:30–12:30
  • Thursday 10:30–12:30
  • Friday 10:30–12:30

We are looking for an individual who is flexible, has great people skills and the desire to provide a professional service standard to both our customers and the Pharmacy Teams.

Responsibilities

  • Promptly and conscientiously deliver prescription items to private houses, nursing and residential homes.
  • Provide a high standard of customer service, portray a friendly professional image and act as an ambassador for the Cohens brand.
  • Work under pressure to deliver prescriptions within the designated period of time.
  • Assist with PR exercises to increase business.

Requirements

  • Very basic computer skills to plan and print daily routes.
  • Own vehicle for the role; vehicle insurance must allow for business use. Provide proof of increased premium if applicable.
  • Reimbursement for mileage: 40p per mile up to 10,000 miles, then 25p per mile thereafter. Fuel receipts required for each visit; mileage claim submitted weekly.
  • Attention to detail to ensure delivery complies with company’s regulated procedures.
  • DBS check required as part of recruitment process.
