We are looking to recruit a 32-hour Trainee Pharmacy Assistant on a permanent contract to work at our 009-branch located at 12/14 Market Street, Tottington, Bury, BL8 4AD.
Shift pattern:
- Monday 09:00-18:00 (1-hour unpaid lunch break)
- Wednesday 09:00-18:00 (1-hour unpaid lunch break)
- Thursday 09:00-18:00 (1-hour unpaid lunch break)
- Friday 09:00-18:00 (1-hour unpaid lunch break)
- Saturday – work every 4th Saturday with an afternoon off in the week
Whilst working in this branch you will gain excellent knowledge and skills which will contribute to successfully gaining the recognised Counter Course and NVQ level 2 qualification in Dispensing.
Responsibilities:
- Accurate dispensing and labelling of prescription items under pharmacist supervision.
- Assist with ordering and managing stock levels within the dispensary and shop.
- Maintain strict attention to detail, work under pressure, and meet deadlines.
- Provide high standard of customer service as part of a well‑established team.
- Assist customers with general enquiries and product advice.
Qualifications:
- Previous customer service experience.
- Willingness to undertake relevant training courses (Counter Course, NVQ level 2).
- Strong people skills and ability to work under pressure.
- Good communication and organisational skills.
