We are recruiting a 40‑hour Regional Relief Trainee/Qualified Pharmacy Assistant on a permanent contract to work across all of our branches in region 05 (10 branches in the Blackburn and Burnley area) and two branches in Oswaldtwistle.
Responsibilities
- Accurately dispense and label prescription items under Pharmacist supervision.
- Assist with ordering and managing stock levels within the dispensary and shop.
- Provide excellent customer service, ensuring a high standard of care for all patrons.
- Travel regularly to various locations across the region, using your own vehicle.
- Maintain attention to detail and work efficiently under pressure and strict deadlines.
- Complete the recognised Counter Course and NVQ Level 2 qualification in Dispensing during your training period.
Qualifications
- Qualified pharmacy assistant, NVQ Level 2 in Pharmacy Services or equivalent.
- Full driving licence and access to your own vehicle.
- Ability to provide evidence of business use insurance for your vehicle; the company can offer financial support upon submission of proof.
- Willingness to undertake relevant training courses to progress your career.
- Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to work as part of a team.
