The predicted salary is between 12 - 13 £ per hour.
We are looking to recruit a 24‑hour Trainee Pharmacy Assistant on a permanent contract to work at our 037‑branch located at Victoria Health Centre, 3 Victoria Crescent West, Barnsley, S75 2AE. The proposed shift pattern is as follows:
- Tuesday 09:00‑18:00 (1‑hour unpaid lunch break)
- Thursday 09:00‑18:00 (1‑hour unpaid lunch break)
- Friday 09:00‑18:00 (1‑hour unpaid lunch break)
Responsibilities
- Accurate dispensing and labelling of prescription items with guidance and supervision from the Pharmacist.
- Assisting with the ordering and management of stock levels within the dispensary and shop.
- Maintaining excellent attention to detail, working under pressure and meeting strict deadlines.
- Working as part of a well‑established team to ensure customers receive a high standard of service.
Qualifications & Experience
- Ideally suited for someone with previous customer service experience who is willing to undertake the relevant training courses to progress.
- Willingness to pursue the recognised Counter Course and NVQ level 2 qualification in Dispensing is expected.
