As a Trainee Pharmacy Counter Assistant you will work under the supervision of the Pharmacist and assist customers with the sale of over-the-counter medicines, offering advice on symptoms and products and promoting the additional services that our branch offers. You will also be tasked with replenishing stock and supporting the pharmacy team. The role would ideally suit someone with previous customer service experience. The utmost attention to detail is required, along with the ability to work under pressure and meet strict deadlines. The successful candidate must have great people skills, as this is paramount to the role, and will work as part of a well-established team to ensure customers receive a high standard of service.
We are looking to recruit a 12‑hour Trainee Counter Assistant on a fixed‑term contract to work at our 734‑branch located at Hume Street Medical Centre, Hume Street, Kidderminster, DY11 6SF.

- Monday 14:00 – 18:00
- Thursday 14:00 – 18:00
- Friday 14:00 – 18:00
Responsibilities
- Advise customers on how to manage common conditions encountered in the pharmacy
- Recommend over‑the‑counter products appropriately to customers
- Support colleagues with receiving and handing out prescriptions
