We are looking to recruit a 20‑hour Qualified Pharmacy Assistant on a permanent contract to work at our 471‑branch located at Breightmet Health Centre, Breightmet Fold Lane, Bolton, BL2 6NT.
Shift Pattern
- Monday 10:00‑18:00 (1‑hour unpaid lunch break)
- Wednesday 14:00‑18:00
- Thursday 12:00‑18:00 (30‑minute unpaid lunch break)
- Friday 17:30‑21:00
As a Qualified Pharmacy Assistant, you will be responsible for assisting the business in providing an efficient, knowledgeable and friendly service to our customers, with specific responsibility for supporting the dispensing and labelling of prescription items. Additional responsibilities include receiving prescriptions, handing out prescription items, and assisting with ordering and managing stock levels within the dispensary.
NVQ Level 2 or equivalent in Pharmacy Services is essential; skills in planning, attention to detail, and working under pressure are required. The successful candidate must have great people skills, as this is paramount to your role. You'll work as part of a well‑established team and ensure customers receive a high standard of service.
