We are looking to recruit a Zero Hour Prescription Delivery Driver to work on a 12-month fixed term contract at our 448 branch at 88 Main Street, Menston, LS29 6HY. Opening hours for our branch are Monday to Friday 09:00 to 18:00. We are looking for an individual who is flexible to work within these branch opening times, who has great people skills and the desire to provide a professional service standard to both our customers and the Pharmacy Teams.
Reimbursement for mileage undertaken on business journeys will be at a rate of 42p per mile up to 10,000 miles, after which 25p a mile will be reimbursed as per HMRC guidelines. Fuel receipts should be obtained for each visit to the petrol station and the mileage claim submitted on a weekly basis.
Responsibilities- Promptly and conscientiously deliver prescription items to private houses, nursing and residential homes while maintaining a high standard of customer service.
- Portray a friendly professional image and act as an ambassador for the Cohens brand under pressure to deliver prescriptions within designated timeframes.
- Ensure prescriptions are delivered in line with the company’s regulated procedures, paying close attention to detail.
- Assist with PR exercises to increase business when required.
- Very basic computer skills to plan and print daily routes in branch before setting off for deliveries.
- Use of own vehicle for the role; personal insurance policy must allow for business use. A financial contribution will be made towards the business aspect of insurance upon receipt of documentation.
