We are looking to recruit a 32-hour Dispensing Technician to work at our 484-branch located in 68 Brook Road, Trowbridge, BA14 9DL.
Shift Pattern
- Monday 09:00-18:00 (1-hour unpaid break)
- Tuesday 09:00-18:00 (1-hour unpaid break)
- Thursday 09:00-18:00 (1-hour unpaid break)
- Friday 09:00-18:00 (1-hour unpaid break)
Responsibilities
- As a Dispensing Technician you will have successfully completed the NVQ/QCF Level 3 equivalent qualification in Pharmacy Services and be registered with the General Pharmaceutical Council.
- Take responsibility for providing an efficient, knowledgeable and friendly service to our customers, with specific responsibility for carrying out dispensing duties.
- Receive, assemble and dispense prescriptions.
- Advise customers on alternative medicine or care needs where appropriate.
- Deal with complex medication enquiries on behalf of and under the supervision of a pharmacist.
- Support the branch by promoting new services and products as required.
- Build customer relationships and establish their needs.
- Provide friendly advice and demonstrate excellent product knowledge and services.
- Coach others to do the same.
- Work under pressure and maintain strict deadlines.
- Be part of a well-established team and ensure our customers receive a high standard of service.
Qualifications
- Successfully completed NVQ/QCF Level 3 equivalent qualification in Pharmacy Services.
- Registered with the General Pharmaceutical Council.
- Excellent planning, attention to detail and ability to work under pressure.
- Great people skills and passion for people and pharmacy operations.
