We are looking to recruit a 24‑hour Trainee Pharmacy Assistant on a permanent contract to work at our 315‑branch located at 56 Sheepridge Road, Huddersfield, HD2 1HG.

Shift Pattern

  • Wednesday 09:00‑18:00 (1‑hour unpaid lunch break)
  • Thursday 09:00‑18:00 (1‑hour unpaid lunch break)
  • Friday 09:00‑18:00 (1‑hour unpaid lunch break)

While working in this branch you will gain excellent knowledge and skills which will contribute to you successfully gaining the recognised Counter Course and NVQ level 2 qualification in Dispensing. This position is ideally suited to someone with previous customer service experience and who is willing to undertake the relevant training courses in order to progress.

Duties

  • Accurately dispensing and labelling prescription items with guidance and supervision from the Pharmacist.
  • Assisting with the ordering and management of stock levels within the dispensary and the shop.
  • Executing duties with utmost attention to detail and the ability to work under pressure and to strict deadlines.
  • Working as part of a well‑established team and ensuring customers receive a high standard of service.
