The predicted salary is between 10 - 13 £ per hour.
We are looking to recruit a Zero Hour Prescription Delivery Driver to work on a 12-month fixed term contract at our 708 branch at 164c Whitegate Drive, Blackpool, FY3 9HF. To cover sickness and annual leave for the full-time driver. Opening hours for our branch are Monday to Friday 09:00 to 18:00. We are looking for an individual who is flexible to work within these branch opening times, who has great people skills and the desire to provide a professional service standard to both our customers and the Pharmacy Teams.
Responsibilities
- Your main responsibility will be to promptly and conscientiously deliver prescription items to private houses, nursing and residential homes.
- Whilst providing a high standard of customer service, you will portray a friendly professional image and act as an ambassador for the Cohens brand.
- To fulfil this role, you must be able to work under pressure to deliver the prescriptions in the given designated period of time.
- Attention to detail is paramount as you will be responsible to ensure that prescription items are delivered in line with the company's regulated procedures.
- This role requires you to have very basic computer skills, so that you can plan and print your daily routes in branch before you set off to begin your deliveries.
- You may also be required to assist with PR exercises to increase business.
- You are required to use your own vehicle for this role; therefore, if appointed your personal insurance policy must allow for business use. It is advised that you contact your insurer to obtain information regarding this prior to attending an interview.
- Please note that "business insurance" refers to the vehicle only, and not the contents. The Company will make a financial contribution to the business aspect of your insurance upon receipt of a document demonstrating any increased premium.
