We are looking to recruit a 28-hour Trainee Pharmacy Assistant on a permanent contract to work at our 484‑branch located at 68 Brook Road, Trowbridge, BA14 9DL.
Shift Pattern
- Tuesday 10:00-18:00 (1‑hour unpaid lunch break)
- Wednesday 10:00-17:30 (30 minutes unpaid lunch break)
- Thursday 10:00-18:00 (1‑hour unpaid lunch break)
- Friday 10:00-18:00 (1‑hour unpaid lunch break)
Whilst working in this branch you will gain excellent knowledge and skills which will contribute to you successfully gaining the recognised Counter Course and NVQ level 2 qualification in Dispensing. This position is ideally suited to someone with previous customer service experience and who is willing to undertake the relevant training courses in order to progress.
Responsibilities
- Accurate dispensing and labelling of prescription items with guidance and supervision from the Pharmacist.
- Assisting with the ordering and management of stock levels within the dispensary and the shop.
- Ensuring high standard of service for customers as part of a well-established team.
- Maintaining utmost attention to detail, working under pressure and strict deadlines.
