11114 – We are looking to recruit a Zero Hour Prescription Delivery Driver to work on a permanent contract at our 721 branch at 16-18 Market Street, Hoyland, Barnsley, S74 9QR.
Opening Hours
- Mon‑Fri 08:30‑21:00
- Sat 09:00‑12:00 & 17:00‑21:00
- Sun 10:00‑13:00 & 18:00‑22:00
Key Responsibilities
- Promptly deliver prescription items to private houses, nursing and residential homes.
- Maintain a high standard of customer service and portray a friendly professional image as an ambassador for the Cohens brand.
- Work under pressure to deliver prescriptions within the designated time period.
- Plan and print daily routes in branch before setting off for deliveries.
- Assist with PR exercises to increase business when required.
Vehicle and Insurance
- Use your own vehicle for this role; personal insurance must allow for business use.
- Submit weekly mileage claims at 40p per mile up to 10,000 miles, then 25p a mile thereafter.
Qualities Required
- Great people skills and a desire to provide professional service to customers and pharmacy teams.
- Basic computer skills to plan and print routes.
- Attention to detail and the ability to comply with regulated procedures.
- Able to work flexibly within branch opening times.
