At The Coca‑Cola Company, digital transformation is reshaping the way we connect with consumers and customers worldwide. As commerce moves increasingly online, we are accelerating growth through enhanced experiences, data‑driven decisions, and strong system collaboration. The Director, Digital Commerce will lead this charge at market level—translating our global digital vision into actionable strategies that drive value across online grocery, quick‑commerce, and away‑from‑home aggregator platforms.

This role sits at the intersection of commercial excellence, data innovation, and platform economics. You will serve as the orchestrator of Coca‑Cola’s digital system agenda, aligning the Company and bottling partners around shared priorities, unified performance metrics, and integrated investment choices. By embedding analytics and AI into every aspect of the digital business—from forecasting and pricing to conversion and retail media—you will help create an ecosystem that enables smarter, faster decisions and delivers sustainable growth at scale.

Ideal candidates combine strategic depth with digital fluency and operational precision. You understand the mechanics of eCommerce platforms and the importance of customer economics, while seeing data as a differentiator for commercial execution. This role provides the opportunity to influence how digital commerce evolves across Coca‑Cola’s European network while delivering predictable, measurable outcomes for the local market’s growth.

What You’ll Do for Us

  • Lead the market’s Digital Commerce strategy and execution, aligning Coca‑Cola and bottling partners behind a unified growth agenda and an integrated performance plan.
  • Embed data‑driven decision making across digital channels, moving from reporting into predictive analytics and insight‑led action.
  • Establish joint business planning routines with the bottler for digital commerce, ensuring commercial alignment, execution excellence, and measurable return on investment.
  • Drive system performance across online grocery, quick‑commerce, and aggregator platforms with clear accountability for volume, revenue, share, transactions, and profit.
  • Develop and implement eRevenue Growth Management (eRGM) strategies that optimize pack‑price architecture, promotional effectiveness, and customer profitability across channels.
  • Define and track eRetail Execution Drivers (eRED) metrics for digital platforms, balancing economic performance with system sustainability and customer partnership value.
  • Collaborate closely on Retail Media planning and investment, ensuring consistent system decisions that maximize shopper engagement and conversion.
  • Partner cross‑functionally with Marketing, Revenue Growth Management, Operations, and Finance to ensure digital commerce is embedded in all commercial decisions and routines.
  • Incorporate advanced analytics, data science, and AI into forecasting, pricing, promotion, and assortment models to drive continuous improvement and efficiency.
  • Accelerate digital innovation through test‑and‑learn pilots and partnerships, rapidly scaling proven methods across the market and throughout the European network.
  • Cultivate senior relationships with bottling partners, retailers, aggregators, and eCommerce platforms to strengthen joint value propositions and influence digital retail evolution.
  • Represent The Coca‑Cola Company externally in discussions with industry partners and associations, supporting our role in shaping next‑generation digital commerce practices.
  • Model enterprise collaboration, accountability, and speed in all actions to enable the collective success of the Coca‑Cola system.

Requirements & Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Digital Commerce, or related discipline; equivalent practical experience may be considered.
  • Deep experience in Digital Commerce, eCommerce, or Omnichannel leadership roles, ideally with exposure to aggregator and digital platform ecosystems.
  • Proven ability to apply data analytics, AI solutions, and predictive modeling to create measurable business growth and optimize performance.
  • Strong commercial and financial acumen with experience managing tradeoffs across pricing, profitability, and customer engagement.
  • Experienced in partnership management and system alignment, including joint planning and decision‑making within cross‑company networks.
  • Skilled in Retail Media economics and activation, understanding how data and media investment shape conversion and shopper outcomes.
  • Robust understanding of platform economics and eCommerce mechanisms across diverse digital subchannels.
  • Demonstrated success in navigating complex stakeholder environments, influencing strategic outcomes through collaboration rather than formal authority.
  • Exceptional communication and strategic thinking skills combined with a performance‑focused mindset.
  • Comfort working in dynamic, fast‑moving digital environments with a continuous learning approach to emerging technologies and tools.
  • Local market knowledge and proven ability to adapt global frameworks to national digital ecosystems.
  • Willingness to travel up to approximately 25%.

  • Provide scope to shape digital growth strategies that directly impact how consumers experience Coca‑Cola across multiple platforms and markets.
  • Offer development opportunities across AI‑driven analytics, eCommerce architecture, and omnichannel leadership through regional network collaboration.
