Reporting to the Warehouse Manager, the Warehouse Lead is responsible for the tasks and duties relating to inventory control, inventory-related business losses, and warehouse cost centre control. This role will lead a small inventory team, partner closely with the onsite 3PL provider, and manage P&L risk associated with inventory loss. The Warehouse Lead will work cross-functionally with key stakeholders, including but not limited to, Production, Finance, and Planning teams, to ensure accurate inventory management and operational alignment. In addition, the role will ensure compliance with audit requirements and act as the primary point of contact for audit queries relating to warehouse activities.
This position requires a strong balance of technical capability, attention to detail, and effective interpersonal skills to support the WH Manager and collaboration across teams.
YOUR NEW KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Ownership of business loss routines, with a focus on minimising P&L impacts related to inventory activities
- Warehouse cost centre control in relation to write offs and inventory postings
- Pallet business planning (BP) and associated daily co-ordination
- Monitoring of daily/weekly/monthly stock levels in reference to WH capacity and utilisation of external storage partners
- Close collaboration with the Production team on daily SAP reconciliation and Monster confirmations
- Actively manage stakeholder relationships across the business and with 3PL partners, fostering collaboration and trust through clear communication and engagement, by building adequate daily and weekly routines
- End-to-end management of inventory count processes, including:
- Aligning with relevant stakeholders to agree downtime
- Ensuring audit-required processes are followed
- Overseeing reconciliation of counts prior to posting

Essential Criteria
- A third-level qualification or 3–5 years' relevant experience
- Experience within the FMCG sector
- Experience using SAP and Warehouse Management Systems (WMS)
- Basic reporting experience using Excel and PowerPoint (e.g. P&L and KBIs)
- Understanding of Health & Safety requirements in a warehouse environment
- People management capability, including coaching, mentoring, delegation, and relationship building
- Strong stakeholder management and business partnering skills
- Ability to prioritise workload effectively and manage ad-hoc requests from multiple stakeholders
- Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to present information clearly to different audiences
- Demonstrated problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify issues, analyse root cause and implement practical solutions
