Job Description
An extremely rare Position has been created within the Asset Management team of a hugely successful Specialist Lending operation based in the Square mile.
Core Responsibilities
- Case Management & Arrears Resolution: Lead direct negotiations with borrowers who have defaulted or are nearing the end of their loan term. Evaluate financial profiles and agree on sustainable payment arrangements.
- Exit Strategy Development: Collaborate with borrowers, brokers, and underwriters to establish and execute viable repayment plans.
- Litigation & Enforcement Oversight: When restructuring is not feasible, work with internal legal teams and external solicitors to oversee the litigation, repossession, or LPA (Lasting Power of Attorney) receivership process.
- Valuation & Property Management: Instruct valuers, monitor the condition of the physical security asset, and work with agents to prepare properties for sale.
- Stakeholder Reporting: Provide Management Information (MI) and loss forecasting to senior leadership and board-level stakeholders regarding portfolio risks and recovery progress.
This is a key ( senior) position within the team and will suit a skilled and well experienced Lending Arrears professional with a " hands on" approach to managing property.
