A respected and UK leading law firm based in London is looking for an enthusiastic and hardworking Conveyancing Assistant to support their busy Real Estate team in their Residential department. This is a junior role that will not suit LPC/SQE graduates aiming for a training contract.
You will be assisting a partner and two other fee-earners in an administrative capacity, primarily dealing with new client documentation and AML checks, as well as providing administrative assistance in the conveyancing process. Relevant experience in a legal environment is desirable, although training will be provided. You should have a real interest in developing a career in this area of law.
Responsibilities include:
- File opening
- AML compliance
- Administrative exchange formalities, completion and post completion tasks
- Drafting financial statements and invoices
- Submitting property forms
- General administration tasks and updating of internal and external systems
You must be able to join ASAP, ideally without a notice period. This is a full-time role and some hybrid working may be possible, following their 3 month probationary period and full training. Interviews are available immediately.
