We are working with a well established and growing specialist lender with an exciting opportunity to join their team as an Internal BDM to support with a new product
This role will involve generating leads, building relationships and being the first point of contact for introducers
Main responsibilities:
- Generating leads within our market to ensure a robust pipeline of opportunities.
- Follow up new business opportunities and setting up meetings for the Sales team.
- Undertake research into specific towns prior to setting up appointments.
- Research and build relationships with new clients.
- Provide backup including answering telephone calls, texts and emails for the team when brokers are seeking terms
- Ensure that data including tracking of calls, correspondence and visits are accurately entered and managed within the company’s CRM system
- Attend and contribute to sales meetings
- Send broker packs out and follow up
- Track and record activity on accounts and help to close deals
- Submit weekly progress reports and ensure data is accurate.
Requirements:
- Dynamic, ambitious, business minded professional, preferably with experience within the bridging finance/ mortgage sector
- Must have some experience in finance or property
- Min 2 years’ experience generating leads
- Capable of self-generating leads, and 'opening doors' with brokers
- Proven track record in achieving new business and selling services ideally to brokers
- Detailed knowledge of the bridging market is highly desirable.
- Commercially aware with excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Negotiation skills
- Independent, organised and able to work on your own initiative, with a flexible approach to work.
- Enthusiasm, drive and passion with a strong desire to ‘win’ new business.
- Good Computer skills
- Full driving Licence (may require visits later as the role grows)
