Can you collaborate with a multidisciplinary project team and our suppliers to deliver for the communities that we serve? Can you develop clear and effective scopes of work for the remediation of multiple coal mining subsidence projects in Scotland? If so, read on.
Join our dynamic team dedicated to managing coal mining legacy across Scotland and to ensure the safety of the public. Our PSS team also plays a vital role in supporting emergency response in our communities. This includes responding to incidents such as ground instability, property damage or mining-related hazards, working at pace with partners to assess risk, coordinate urgent works and help keep people safe.
As a Regional Project Manager, you may be required to support or coordinate elements of this response, ensuring that appropriate expertise, resources and decision-making are in place when it matters most.
To be successful you will need:
- a degree or H&S level in a Construction subject, Engineering, Geology, or appropriate discipline, or able to demonstrate suitable experience for the role.
- Knowledge of and practical implementation of H&S legislation particularly CDM 2015.
- Understanding and experience of NEC 4 contract administration, procurement routes, tendering, and reporting processes.
- Experience in setting, monitoring, and advising on project cash flows, KPIs, and financial implications.

About The Role
This role is a temporary fixed term contract for an expected period of one year. We don’t expect candidates to meet every single desired qualification. Role location: Candidates will be working in the former coal mining areas of Scotland, based at home with regular site visits and occasional overnight stays.
