Overview
As SAP Security Control Specialist, you will design and continuously improve security controls across SAP platforms to keep critical systems secure and compliant. You will partner with engineers, architects and product teams to embed security-by-design into delivery. This role shapes security governance, risk management and access controls across a complex SAP landscape. You will influence security culture and drive meaningful improvements that enable business change within the Co-op ecosystem.

Responsibilities
- Design, implement and maintain security controls across SAP platforms
- Manage and improve SAP roles, authorisations and RBAC in line with least-privilege
- Assess and monitor SoD risks and address control weaknesses
- Embed security-by-design into system changes and delivery processes with cross-functional teams
- Support risk, audit and compliance activities with evidencing control effectiveness
- Investigate and resolve SAP security and access issues to minimise risk
- Review and drive continuous improvement of SAP controls
- Provide guidance on SAP security risks, controls and best practices
Key requirements
- Experience with SAP security, RBAC and access governance
- Understanding of SoD, access risk management and SAP security governance
- Experience with SAP GRC and related control frameworks
- Knowledge of identity and access management principles including privileged access and user provisioning
- Experience supporting security, risk, audit and compliance in complex SAP environments
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication skills for business-friendly security explanations
