Overview
In this Lead Product Manager role, you will shape the ERP and platform strategy for Co-op’s Food business, ensuring scalable, reliable technology. You will partner with technology, design, delivery and business teams to translate customer needs into impactful product outcomes. You’ll drive discovery through delivery, maintaining a clear roadmap and prioritised backlog to deliver measurable value. This role offers a hands-on leadership path within a collaborative, cross-functional product community and a chance to influence large-scale technology decisions.

Responsibilities
- Lead continuous improvement of SAP and ERP platforms with internal teams and partners to deliver upgrades, maintain compliance and meet evolving business needs
- Define and communicate a clear vision, strategy and roadmap for Food business products
- Collaborate with SAP to optimise Co-op processes and the RISE methodology
- Balance customer needs, business priorities and technical considerations in product decisions
- Lead the product lifecycle from discovery through delivery to achieve meaningful outcomes
- Use customer insights, feedback and data to identify opportunities and prioritise improvements
- Manage a well-prioritised product backlog to focus on high-value work
- Measure product performance and use evidence to inform future decisions and investments
- Build strong relationships across product, engineering, design and business teams to drive collaboration and alignment
Key requirements
- Significant product management experience defining strategies and leading complex initiatives
- Experience with ERP, enterprise platforms or business-critical technology products
- Knowledge of SAP platforms and collaboration with third-party technology providers
- Strong stakeholder management and relationship-building across teams and levels
- Experience using insights and data to inform decisions and prioritise work
- Ability to translate business goals into clear product outcomes, roadmaps and measurable objectives
- Strong communication skills to explain complex ideas to diverse audiences
