We are looking for a warm and caring individual to join our team as a Crèche Assistant. You will ensure children are happy, comfortable, and well‑cared for, engaging them in stimulating play activities, maintaining accurate records, and building trusting relationships with parents while working closely with the Crèche Manager.

Responsibilities

  • Ensure children are happy, comfortable, and safe in a stimulating environment.
  • Engage children in varied, age‑appropriate play activities.
  • Maintain accurate attendance and safety records.
  • Tidily organize and keep the crèche safe and tidy at all times.
  • Assist in creating and implementing new initiatives.
  • Build and maintain trusting relationships with parents.

Qualifications

  • NVQ Level 2 in Children and Young Persons Workforce or equivalent (preferred).

Working Hours and Shift Patterns

  • 7 days a week, 0600–2300; shifts vary by business requirements.
  • Shift patterns will vary; weekends and bank holidays.
  • Evening availability for functions.
  • Creche opening hours available upon request.
