The Role:
We are looking for a dependable and detail-oriented Night Porter to manage our front-desk operations during the night shift. In this role, you will be the key point of contact for our guests, ensuring a seamless and secure overnight experience. Your efforts will help create a safe, comfortable environment, allowing our guests to rest easy, while maintaining the smooth operation of hotel services throughout the night.
As a Night Porter, you will manage late check-ins, early check-outs, and reconcile charges from the previous day. You will be responsible for the security of the hotel and its guests, ensuring smooth communication with guests and team members through the portable phone. Your duties include monitoring key handling, turning off lights in unoccupied rooms, assisting guests with any needs, and overseeing night-time cleaning operations to ensure all areas are prepared for the following day. Additionally, you'll balance financial accounts, report any maintenance issues, and be prepared to manage emergency situations when needed.
To help you grow in your role, you'll attend regular training sessions and team meetings, ensuring we continue to improve and maintain excellence in all areas.
Experience & Skills Required:
Experience of comparable work in a hotel/hospitality environment preferred.
Schedule:
We operate a 7-days a week business, including weekends and holidays as required.
Shift Type:
Overnight, ensuring a smooth and secure operation during the night hours.
