The Role

We are seeking an experienced and dedicated individual to oversee the continuous improvement and implementation of The Club Company experience, in line with our brand standards. You will analyse customer feedback across all channels, providing strategic direction to enhance the customer experience and respond to their needs. In the absence of the Club Director or General Manager, you will take full responsibility for the site’s operation.

You will lead and coach the team, ensuring exceptional service standards and quick service delivery. Proactively addressing deficiencies and resolving escalated complaints, you will foster a culture of empathy towards both customers and team members. Collaboration with the leadership team will be key in driving the club’s success, and you will monitor performance targets, KPIs, and benchmarks to exceed service standards.

As Deputy General Manager, you will ensure team adherence to company policies, including dress code standards, while maintaining a safe and engaging work environment. Your leadership and focus on customer satisfaction will ensure an exceptional experience for our members and guests. Experience & Skills Required

  • Strong supervisory skills with experience in team management.
  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Experience of working in a front of house or golf operations role in a leadership capacity.

Schedule

  • We operate a 7‑days a week business, between 0600 to 2300
  • Shift patterns will vary as per business requirements and encompass all opening hours – weekends and bank holidays
  • Evening availability for functions (until 0200)
