The Role:
We are seeking a dedicated and proactive Cleaning Supervisor to join our team. As the Cleaning Supervisor, you will oversee a team of cleaners, ensuring that all areas of the club meet our high standards of cleanliness and hygiene. You will play a key role in managing the cleaning team, scheduling shifts, recruiting and training new staff, and coordinating with suppliers for specialised services. This is an exciting opportunity to take on a leadership role while contributing to maintaining a welcoming and pristine environment for our guests and members.
As the Cleaning Supervisor, you will be responsible for managing the cleaning team to ensure all daily, weekly, and routine cleaning tasks are carried out in line with company standards. You will inspect the work of the cleaning team, provide approval, and ensure that the equipment is in top condition. You will oversee the team's schedule, adjust workloads as needed, and assist with recruitment and training to maintain high performance standards.
Your role will also involve managing stock levels, ensuring compliance with health and safety guidelines, and enforcing the use of appropriate PPE by the team. You will be the point of contact for any maintenance issues related to cleaning equipment and machinery, and ensure all incidents, including health and safety concerns, are reported promptly. Additionally, you will take responsibility for the safe and secure closing of the building at the end of each shift.
To help you grow in your role, you'll attend regular training sessions and team meetings, ensuring we continue to improve and maintain excellence in all areas.
Schedule:
We operate a 7-days a week business, with weekends and bank holidays. This position will require you to cover a variety of cleaning shifts, including day and evening shifts starting at either 09:00, 18:00, or later, depending on the schedule. Flexibility is key in this role to ensure all shifts are adequately covered.
